Why you should go even though it's close to NT$10,000 (with alcohol)per table:

There was no time restriction on how long you can dine there. Not to mention the excellent table side service (添飯，加湯是“不行”自己來的) The server knows their dish and wine/sake very knowledgeable introduction added to the overall dinning experience.

The server won't interrupt you to serve the next dish if you're in the middle of a conversation with your partner. I was busy taking photos of the view when the server had my sake ready and he just waited patiently in the back of the table until I was done. That shows some real professionalism on客戶應對.

You could see the Luminere show from the 47th floor. Taipei 101 is also right behind you (bet that's the closest you've come to Taiepi 101).

I think what made the experience was that the restaurant put a reservation limit on how many tables they'll serve that day. Even though the restaurant wasn't full they put a sign outside saying that the reservation was full for the day which made the overall experience even more exclusive.
