在書籍和電影單中的角色，會經歷一段特殊的經驗，使得角色擁有更深刻和多方面的性格。這在文學和影視創作中被稱為角色發展情節。

在角色發展情節當中通常會有一個轉捩點讓角色的內心出現比較大的改變、轉折。這在文學和影視創作中被稱為角色弧。

補充：很多學生回穩雪莉為什麼"she did steal it"這種句子可以有兩個動詞。本來就沒有一個句子只能有一個動詞這種事，尤其do在這裡是助動詞。就像每個進行式的句子都有be(助)動詞和v-ing兩個動詞。而動詞前面加do並不是隨時都是正確的，而是用在強調某一件事情的確有發生或的確是事實時使用。

翻譯：她從來不駝背。
Insult (n.) a disrespectful or scornfully abusive remark or act 侮辱的話語或行為

Talkative (adj.) fond of or given to talking 聒噪的；話多的
影片用句：She's very talkative.
翻譯：她話很多。
Manipulative (adj.) exercising willful control or influence over a person or situation 操弄的；心機重的
影片用句：She is just the most manipulative person I've ever met.
翻譯：她就是我遇過最喜歡操弄人、心機最重的人。
Execute (v.) carry out a legal sentence of death 處死
